So now I'm back in Soton, and all together I think I can say that my time in Cornwall was a success. Dad seemed more stable (of course, time will tell how long last this phase will last) and Mum's healing and feeling better every day (she was getting very excited at the rugby to the point where we thougth she'd burst her stitches - situation normal). It was so draining at the end of every day, but I'm glad I was there to help out and pick everyone up. Thanks to everyone for their good thoughts and prayers, I know that they've been a big help to me and my Mum.
Watched Done the Impossible, the documentary made about the extraordinary Browncoat movement and how it helped to get the Firefly verse on the big screen. It made me proud to be both a fangirl and a Browncoat and reminded me of just how much I heart Nathan Fillion. People need to offer him more roles, though I know he's currently in the newest series (4) of Desperate Housewives, which will get him more exposure. Well done, Nathan.
So tired from the lack of sleep of the past few weeks and Living Room on Sunday (so great to see all the team again and the atmosphere was electric, God's presence was so there). I have early morning prayers on Wednesday which'll hurt but it'll be worth it. I managed pretty much ok at work today, I think I'm reaching a peace, though I have an appraisal on Friday - eeek! I always get nervy about them. |
